Testimonial

For five years we have been struggling to maintain a lawn with a nine inch layer of compacted builders rubble and deep clay underneath – beneath the topsoil. Our dogs spending their pennies theron has only added to our problems.

This week Mike and Tom from Lifestyle Landscapes spent a day and a half removing our sad old lawn, improving drainage, and thereafter laying a new artificial ‘lazylawn’

Mike & Tom worked incredibly hard. The job involved much manual labour as well as considerable skill in getting the drainage right and laying the new lawn. They did all that we asked of them and more – including supplying us with some compost for the perimeter flower beds.

Not only that, but they cleaned and swept up after them, leaving the place even cleaner and tidier than when they arrived.

Teresa and I are absolutely delighted with our new lawn. Please thank Mike and Tom for us, and we have no hesitation in recommending Lifestyle Landscapes to anyone needing work done in their garden.

The garden is the only part of the school not to have been damaged in any way by the pupils in the last two years. The outside space is used for teaching and the pupils use it at break time to sit and relax in. We noticed that the children seem to appear to have been unplugged as soon as they enter the garden and calm down almost straight away. Which has made it a most valuable place when dealing with challenging pupils.

Dear Andy

I lead a hectic life as a business coach and trainer, Roger is an auditor so both of us spend quite a bit of time away from home. Our passion in our life is horses so when we are at home , we are busy with them and this leaves little time to maintain the house and garden. Our cottage is a beautiful thatched cottage around 4-500 years old and once had an attractive garden. When we arrived last year, the flower beds and rockery were full of grass which was kept in check with regular strimming.

Having always yearned after a herbaceous border, just looking at the rockery made me feel tired, knowing that it needed to be taken to pieces and reassembled to remove the perenial weeds but retain the snowdrops and bluebells. Without help it just wasn’t going to happen. Lifestyle Landscapes did the groundwork for us last year, designed the beds and planted in the Spring. I gave them free rein and took their recommendations. The garden now looks wonderful, imagine my delight when I visited Hatch House sunken garden on their open day to recognise the planting schemes I had at home. It is already by far the most beautiful garden we have had and next year, when it has had time to settle in, it will look even better. We still have a few beds to do and will have those done next year. Lifestyle Landscapes really do know their stuff and are now maintaining nicely so that all I have to do is admire it. Thank you Lifestyle Landscapes for giving me pleasure every time I look out of the window as well as when I have time to sit out and enjoy it.
